6:45 AM Tribute
7:00 AM March to Concord
Starts next to Bemis Hall
15 Bedford Road
Start your day with a solemn tribute at dawn at the Bemis Burying Ground, where we honor the fallen patriots who gave everything for liberty.
At 7:00 AM, this moving ceremony will lead into a reenactment of the march from Lincoln to Concord, following the same path taken by Lincoln’s patriots during the early hours of the American Revolution.
Join reenactors as they march to the stirring sounds of fife and drum, musket fire ringing through the air, retracing the steps from Lincoln’s Old Town Center, down Sandy Pond Road with a stop at Dakins Field for a tribute, and continuing into Concord Center.
It’s a chance to experience history firsthand and feel the courage and resolve of those who marched to secure freedom.
Co-sponsored with the Lincoln Minute Men, this event commemorates the courage of those who fought for freedom.
